You can bet that “Dancing With the Stars” judge Bruno Tonioli gave this modern home in West Hollywood, CA, a full 10 before he plunked down $2,825,000 and waltzed straight in. The Italian choreographer, dancer, and TV personality snagged the home for below the asking price of $3 million in December 2016.

The home is in one of West Hollywood’s best neighborhoods and, conveniently enough, it’s only five minutes away (even during rush hour) from the CBS studios where “Dancing With the Stars” is produced. The neighborhood is also just a quickstep away from the chic and trendy shops and restaurants on Robertson Boulevard and Melrose Avenue.

Not that he’ll want to be stepping out too often, because he’s settled in this new home designed with entertaining in mind. It features an open floor plan which seamlessly combines the kitchen and family room. Outdoors there’s a private backyard with a deck, pool, spam and fire pit. The home features a Crestron smart system, which will allow the finicky judge to set lighting, shading, and surveillance with the flick of a switch.

Should he want to dine in, he can take advantage of the professional kitchen with Miele and Bertazzoni appliances. And with three en suite bedrooms, plus a powder room, there’s plenty of room for overnight guests.

The residence measures 2,359 square feet and sits on a 4,775-square-foot lot. Properties are snug in this part of town, but architects and developers have figured out how to make efficient use of the available space, and use high hedges, gates, and walls for privacy.

Before he started working on “Dancing With the Stars,” the 61-year-old Tonioli was a choreographer for music videos, stage shows, and tours for greats including Tina Turner, Sting, and Elton John. He’s also a judge on the original celebrity dancing program, the British staple “Strictly Come Dancing.” As quick with his words as he is on his feet, he speaks five languages: Italian, English, Portuguese, Spanish, and French.

He’s been a fabulous fixture on the judges’ table for all 23 seasons of “DWTS,” and he’s about to begin work on the 24th, which premieres March 20.
