A former NFL tight end, known for his great hands, fearless play, and championship pedigree, is looking to score another investment touchdown.

Brent Jones, a three-time Super Bowl champion, has listed his home in Diablo, CA, for $2.8 million. Jones had purchased the property for $2.3 million in March 2015.

According to the listing, the home was recently updated and features custom millwork, wide hallways, high ceilings, large rooms, and hardwood flooring.

The four-bedroom, 4.5-bath home measures 4,310 square feet. It features an open floor plan that includes an office, a theater room, and guest quarters.

The chef’s kitchen opens to a resort-style backyard that doesn’t hold back on the amenities: pool, putting green, and cabana with a kitchen, fireplace, and bathroom.

Jones is a San Francisco Bay Area legend. He attended Leland High School in San Jose and graduated from Santa Clara University, where he played football.

Originally drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers, Jones rose to fame during his 10 seasons with the San Francisco 49ers, with whom he won three Super Bowl titles. He retired as a four-time Pro Bowler and three-time All-Pro.

Jones also found success beyond the football field. His latest bit of news came in 2016, when reports surfaced he was leaving Northgate Capital, a venture capital firm he founded after his retirement in 2000 with a former 49ers teammate.
