Comic Russell Peters Relists His Malibu Mansion With a Deep Discount

Comedian, actor, and producer Russell Peters is ready to sell his Malibu, CA, beach house at a bargain price. Peters has relisted his mansion for $8.8 million, which is about $3 million less than what he was asking for in 2016.

But have no fear, the notoriously thrifty funnyman might still clear a profit. He purchased the property in 2015 for $4.73 million.

According to the Real Deal, Peters added a wall of windows and glass railings and balconies to make the most of the water views. He also added the home’s two-story front entrance.

Built in 1999, the 10,000-square-foot home is more formal than a typical beach house. It has seven bedrooms and 8.5 bathrooms. The first level has a TV room, game room, office with guest suite, formal living room, and dining room. The kitchen and breakfast area overlook the pool and ocean.

The second-floor master suite boasts a wraparound terrace, dressing area with enormous closets, and bathroom with sauna, oversize shower, free-standing tub, and, of course, ocean views.

There’s also a gym and screening room. Out back, there’s a pool and guesthouse.

According to the Real Deal, Peters is moving to Hidden Hills, where he bought a home in June. He recently launched “The Indian Detective,” a Netflix series in which he stars alongside William Shatner.
