It looks like the upper-end housing parade isn’t about to end any time soon. This week, National Association of Realtors® chief economist Lawrence Yun cited no reason for concern in the residential real estate market.
“We may be reaching the turning point at least in terms of sales activity, but not pricing,” said Yun.
Further evidence? As we count down the most expensive new listings on realtor.com®, five more properties hit the market this week—all with price tags over $23 million. The top spot goes to a Palm Beach County mansion that was on the market last year for $37.5 million. It has returned—not with a price reduction—but with an $11 million price hike. It’s quite a turning point!
The rest of this week’s expensive new listings are equally impressive. They include a Beverly Hills estate (with a price cut!), a waterfront Fort Lauderdale mansion with a psychic connection, an O.C. villa overlooking the ocean, and a full-floor unit at the Baccarat in midtown Manhattan.

1. 1370 S Ocean Blvd, Manalapan, FLPrice: $48,900,000 ($1,417 per square foot)
Luxe factor: Casa Brisas hit the market last year for $37.5 million. At the time, the home wasn’t finished and the listing agent said the price would only go up once work was completed. Well, that time is now. The Balinese-style nine-bedroom mansion in Palm Beach County is back with a hefty $11 million price hike. Right next to the Atlantic Ocean, the home features a stunning walk-in wardrobe and two garages—one for your daily driver, the other for your exotic car collection.
