It was once one of the priciest palaces in Miami Beach, FL. Now it’s one of the best deals you can find. But don’t let the discount fool you.
The baller paradise belonging to rapper, record producer, and entrepreneur Bryan “Birdman” Williams is still one of the most luxurious in the land.
Listed for $20 million in June, the home was recently discounted to $16.9 million. Co-listing agent Brett Harris of Douglas Elliman Real Estate says that at about $736 per square foot, the Italian-style mansion with “all the amenities of a luxury hotel” is “one of the best-priced homes on the market.”
Most other mansions in the vicinity are asking $1,000 per square foot or more, Harris adds.
Williams bought the mansion from Rockstar Energy Drink founder Russell Weiner for $14.25 million in 2011. Built in 2004, it has seven bedrooms and 12 bathrooms. Birdman dropped a few million in luxury accoutrements, including the backlit onyx on the kitchen island, the bar, and the master suite fireplace.

The master suite also has walls of tufted leather, animal-print wallpaper, walk-in closets, and a plush sitting area. There are two master baths with clear glass walls that turn opaque with a flick of a switch, for those occasions when you don’t want to be too showy.
The 48-year-old music mogul had combined three bedrooms on the top floor to create the immense suite.

“This is a home fit for kings. It has 20,000 square feet under AC with every amenity possible,” says Harris. “It’s one of the grandest estates on Palm Island.”
And about those amenities. Harris was kind enough to tick them off for us. “There are two wine cellars; a movie theater that seats 13; a six-car, climate-controlled garage; 40-foot-tall entry foyer; an entertainer’s bar; a double staircase with custom iron railings … and a 2,000-square-foot master bedroom with two private balconies,” says the agent.

The Palm Island location is another major selling point. This particular property features 100 feet of canal frontage, plus a dock that can accommodate a 100-foot yacht. The half-acre property also includes a pool, sand volleyball court, and summer kitchen with a pizza oven.

It’s a fittingly flashy home for the co-founder of Cash Money Records, which has been responsible for hits from artists such as Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, and Drake. Birdman co-founded the label with his brother, Ronald “Slim” Williams, and is also a noted rapper in his own right; he’s estimated to be worth about $180 million.
