Opus mansion in Beverly Hills

Even with a $15 million price reduction, the uber-luxurious Opus mansion in Beverly Hills, CA, is this week’s most expensive new listing on realtor.com®. It’s back on the market for $85 million, and Drew Fenton with Hilton & Hyland represents the listing.

The 20,500-square-foot house, which is located on “Billionaire’s Row,” initially landed on the market earlier in the year for $100 million. The spec home has seven bedrooms and 11 bathrooms. It also comes with two swimming pools and a “wellness center” with hot and cold plunge pools, steam and massage rooms, and a beauty salon. Stylist not included.

Designed by architect Paul McClean, the megamansion, which sits on an acre lot, boasts a huge deck with “jetliner views” of the city and the Pacific Ocean.

There are plenty of reasons to have a party here, with a Cristal Champagne room stocked with 170 bottles, a 15-seat home theater, and two bars.

There’s also a car museum, but you’ll have to add the wheels. The gold Rolls-Royce Dawn and Lamborghini Aventador Roadster that had been part of the original (pricier) package are gone, along with the Damien Hirst artwork, according to the Los Angeles Times.

But pops of gold still exist throughout. The home is entered through golden gates, and there is a golden sculptural O, for Opus, in a water feature outside the contemporary home.

Despite the lack of wheels in the garage, the property still comes with plenty of perks, including an open space with a chef’s kitchen steps from a pool. The custom furnishings are included in the sale.

The space boasts 12-foot-high ceilings and motorized sliding doors that open to the deck and pool, allowing for indoor-outdoor flow.

The show-stopping master suite includes views of the city, Roberto Cavalli flooring, and Longhi doors in suede and embossed leather.

You might need a golden wallet to buy the place, but you won’t be alone. Your neighbors on Billionaire’s Row include Minecraft creator Markus Persson, who made headlines when he beat out superstars Beyoncé and JAY Z for the must-have home with the candy wall for a cool $70 million.
