The most-clicked home this week has an eye-popping dual personality that realtor.com users found weirdly irresistible. From the outside, the vintage 1960s pad in Portland, OR, is all modern cool. But inside, the owners went haywire with decor. The gold coffered ceilings, multiple-patterned wallpaper, and gobs of mosaic tiles certainly commanded the attention of the web. Its relatively modest price of $539,000 also helped it make our list last week.
The runner-up is the aggressively wacky Kessler Mansion in Indianapolis, a home we covered last month that continues to inspire internet awe. The homeowner added to the mansion over the decades, and now the 29,500-square-foot compound has 11 bedrooms and eight bathrooms. The strange architectural statement is still available for $1,750,000.
After gauche comes gorgeous. Tenth on our list is a Southampton, NY, vacation compound belonging to retired pro golfer Raymond Floyd. Priced at $25 million, the 3.25-acre property comes with a main house, guest house, pool, and tennis court.
“The covered front deck and the covered back deck really are remarkable—big, broad, welcoming,” says listing agent Harald Grant, who calls the large property unusual for the location.
