Texas Rangers‘ ace Cole Hamels needs a closer to come in and finish off the Ozarks mansion he’s selling for $9.75 million.

Located just outside of Branson, MO, the home is built in a French provincial style and features nearly 32,000 square feet of living space. There are 10 bedrooms, 13 bathrooms, six half-baths, and four living areas. The interior is unfinished, so a buyer will be able to choose the finishing touches.

The massive home sits on approximately 105 acres that include more than 1,700 feet of shoreline access to Table Rock Lake as well as a private dock.

Hamels has been playing in the MLB since 2006 and was named the 2008 World Series MVP after the Philadelphia Phillies’ triumph over the Tampa Bay Rays.

Hamels and his wife, who’s from the Ozarks, began building the Missouri mansion during his stint with the Phillies. However, after Hamels was traded to the Texas Rangers in 2015, the couple decided to relocate to the Dallas area.

“It’s a wonderful opportunity for someone to come in and take advantage of a lot of tremendous work that’s been done,” said listing agent Dennis Hilton of Hilton Realtors. “It just needs someone’s personal touch to come in.”

The guest quarters and carriage house are complete and occupant-ready, so a buyer won’t have to live elsewhere while selecting the wall coverings and appliances for the main house. Current features include a pool, outdoor kitchen, elevator, and wine cellar.

The home is located near the borders of Dogwood Canyon Nature Park, which features walking trails, tram tours, trout fishing, and more.
