Being fired isn’t a fun feeling. Not that we’d know!

But career changes inevitably lead to properties being placed on the market. By now, we’re used to seeing sports execs (and players) sell homes when they fall out of favor.

For more evidence, look no further than this week’s most popular home on realtor.com®. Owned by coach Rex Ryan, the Orchard Park, NY, mansion hit the market less than a month after the Buffalo Bills axed him (and two years after he was pink-slipped by the New York Jets).

Need more proof? Check out our second-place finisher this week. The stunning home of former Philadelphia 76ers general manager Sam Hinkie landed on the market this week, and curious sports fans were eager to peek into his real estate process.

We don’t know if the remaining eight homes are on the market as a result of an employee getting the boot, but we do know a career change opened up a marvelous modern farmhouse in South Carolina. It wasn’t the only modern farmhouse to crack the top 10 this week!

We also found a charming old Craftsman in Colorado, a Baton Rouge beauty on the market for the first time ever, and a mansion converted into a bed-and-breakfast in Waco.

As you avoid the gaze of your boss, scroll down to see the most popular properties this week.

10. 675 N Humboldt St, Denver, CO

Price: $3,600,000
Why it’s here: On the market since September, this charming Craftsman perked up in popularity this week, but we’re not sure why. We are sure, however, we’re in love with this four-bedroom home’s classic look. Built in 1908, it’s been renovated, but the gorgeous period details remain intact.

9. 1425 Columbus Ave, Waco, TX

Price: $1,250,000
Why it’s here: Currently run as a bed-and-breakfast, the historic Migel House is located in downtown Waco. And although Waco is the home of “Fixer Upper,” this century-old mansion doesn’t need much fixing up. It’s ready for an aspiring innkeeper or a buyer who wants an enormous (9,723-square-foot) single-family home.

8. W. 7230 Brick Church Rd, Walworth, WI

Price: $385,000
Why it’s here: Located along the state’s southern edge, Feet in the Dirt Farm is a prime opportunity for a buyer looking to leave behind the big city. The buyer will get a modern farmhouse plus 5 acres of pasture, apple orchards, and a couple of barns.

7. 5810 112th St, Lubbock, TX

Price: $195,000
Why it’s here: The Dixie Chicks once sang “Lubbock or Leave It.” But we love this Lubbock home enough to stay. Only 3 years old, the handsome and airy three-bedroom brick home is only $110 per square foot. Which is almost like buying it for a song…

6. 106 Wild Turkey Ln, Berkeley Springs, WV

Price: $215,000
Why it’s here: Right along the Maryland border, this three-bedroom cedar home sits on over 2 acres of land close to the Potomac River. It could possibly be a getaway for a disgruntled DC worker.

5. 594 S Mapleton Dr, Los Angeles, CA

Price: $200,000,000
Why it’s here: Although it’s been relegated to the role of runner-up, the country’s second most expensive home is still worth a second look.

4. 2607 McConnell Dr, Baton Rouge, LA

Price: $835,000
Why it’s here: Listing agent Susan Roshto Miller said this five-bedroom home is located in the “hottest neighborhood in Baton Rouge.” So it’s no surprise that the home is already under contract. Miller added that the home has great bones and a great yard; it needs just a few cosmetic updates.

3. 331 Bakerville Rd, Easley, SC

Price: $949,900
Why it’s here: It’s another modern farmhouse! Listing agent Tammy Woodbury said million-dollar listings aren’t common in the area, but she had two showings on the first day the home hit the market. Woodbury said this dream home was completed by the owners just last year, but they now have to relocate. She added that the 50-acre farm would make a perfect family compound or a wonderful wedding venue.

2. 1346 Wooded Way, Bryn Mawr, PA

Price: $3,100,000
Why it’s here: It’s the home of former Philadelphia 76ers GM Sam Hinkie. Infamous for his “process” when running the Sixers, Hinkie didn’t endear himself to Philly sports fans and was ousted last year. After we reported that he put his classic five-bedroom home in Bryn Mawr on the market, every news and sports outlet in the City of Brotherly Love took a peek inside.

1. 50 Grand View Trl, Orchard Park, NY

Price: $1,100,000
Why it’s here: The home of former Bills head coach Rex Ryan went on the market just over a week ago. Shuffled out of Buffalo, Ryan is leaving behind this enormous four-bedroom, two-story home. We’re in love with the home’s entertainment area—where we can imagine Ryan spent many an evening curled up with some nachos in front of the big-screen TV. It’s time to leave New York state, Rex! It hasn’t been good to you.
