The residential market in Louisville remained cool in January. The Greater Louisville Association of Realtors reports that 646 homes were sold by its members in January, down 8.4 percent from a year earlier. But the average selling price rose to $220,805 from $203,539, an 8.5 percent increase. Inventory increased during the month, with 2,216 active listings as of Jan.15, up from 1,990 a year earlier.
