Hollywood powerhouse Eva Longoria has slashed the price on her Los Angeles compound to $9.8 million. It’s a large discount from the estate’s initial asking price of $14 million.
Longoria bought the property from fellow A-lister Tom Cruise in 2015 for $11.4 million. As soon as she laid eyes on the dreamy French Country compound, she says, she fell in love.
“I know Tom; he’s a lovely person,” Longoria told US Magazine, “He did a very, very good job on this house, because it was stunning and beautiful, and the minute we walked in, I was like, ‘This, this is a home.'”
Built in 2004, the stunning, ultra-private, gated property includes a three-bedroom, three-bathroom French villa, as well as a four-bedroom, four-bathroom country house. There are also two standalone studios and a stone cottage, all tucked on a secluded, paparazzi-proof 2.75 acres, with expansive Valley views below. The tree-lined grounds—located just off Los Angeles’ iconic Mulholland Drive—include show-stopping outdoor spaces that look as though they were plucked right from a fairy-tale.

Besides all the buildings, the discounted purchase price also includes an additional, adjacent lot, and plans for a renovation by architect Mark Rios.
But despite the property’s obvious appeal, life has changed for Longoria. Since the purchase, the actress has married Mexican businessman José “Pepe” Bastón, and recently gave birth to a baby boy, Santiago. Longoria only lived at the secluded compound for a little while before buying another more modern home in Los Angeles for $13.5 million.
Now the busy working mom is ready to unload this pricey property at a loss—it’s an ideal opportunity for a privacy-craving A-lister to snap up this stylish estate, fit for Hollywood royalty.
