Here’s a sports-and-celeb-studded deal: Former MLB player Jim Edmonds and his wife, Meghan King Edmonds of “Real Housewives of Orange County,” have sold their Newport Beach, CA, home to Tom Telesco, general manager of the Los Angeles Chargers, according to the Los Angeles Times.
The recently renovated home was on the market for about a year and sold for $2,998,000. It was originally listed for $3,399,000.
The Edmonds paid $2.8 million for the five-bedroom, 5.5-bath house about two years ago. Its remodel was featured in a “RHOC” episode in which the housewives helped tear out the kitchen during a demolition party.

The 5,534-square-foot house is located in Newport Heights, which is close to the beach. The listing says the house is a blend of “soft contemporary, traditional and modern–farm-house elements.”

Telesco, now 44, joined the NFL’s Chargers in 2013, becoming the youngest general manager in the team’s history.
Edmonds, aka “Jimmy Baseball,” played for the California/Anaheim Angels, St. Louis Cardinals, San Diego Padres, Chicago Cubs, Milwaukee Brewers, and Cincinnati Reds. The 47-year-old is a broadcaster for Fox Sports Midwest.
Meghan King Edmonds joined the “Real Housewives” cast in 2015.
