The steamy month of July was not so great for closing deals in South Florida, as sales of existing homes and condos declined, according to the Florida Realtors. There were 4,119 single-family home sales in the tri-county area in July, down 1.4 percent from the same month a year ago. The median sales price increased 8 percent to $340,000.
