This week’s most expensive new listing on realtor.com® doesn’t have the heft of an enormous price tag. Perhaps we’re just used to seeing homes over $50 million top the chart week after week, but this week’s winner seems like a relatively modest buy at $35 million.
Located in Beverly Hills, the gated estate is just up the street from the Beverly Hills Hotel and Sunset Boulevard. On just over a half-acre of land, the six-bedroom home is only six years old. Listing agent Ryan Davis says this mansion is different from many of the other big-ticket estates in the L.A. area—in a good way.
“Because this wasn’t built as a spec home and was made for an owner who planned to occupy the home, the construction and materials are high quality,” Davis says. The agent said his seller is simply relocating to a home in the Brentwood area and wants to divest his holding in 90210.
And after landing on the market less than a week ago, the mansion has already attracted two offers, Davis told us. Feedback from qualified buyers who have toured the home has been universally positive.
“There’s really nowhere you can critique this property. It’s an example of great construction and design,” the agent says.
