Celebrity chef Rachael Ray has a new recipe for selling her Southampton home: cutting the price. The freshly relisted 3,000-square-foot space is now available for $4.69 million, the New York Post reported. It’s a couple of hundred thousand dollars less than the $4.9 million asking price of August 2017.
The author and TV star purchased the place for $2.1 million in 2008, along with her husband, John Cusimano. Even with the recent price cut, the couple could still cook up a nice profit if the estate tempts a buyer.
The couple decided to let the Hamptons home go and instead built a country house in the Adirondacks on 200 acres near Lake Luzerne, near where Ray grew up.

Built in 1976, the home represents an appetizing opportunity. Remodeled by Ray personally, the 3,000-square-foot house sits on 6 parklike acres of lawns and gardens, and comes with a four-room pool house, guesthouse, oversized pool, and patio with pergola.
Inside, the layout features open living and dining, three ensuite bedrooms, including a luxury master suite, a media area, and access to the pool. Naturally, the celebrity chef has put in an open gourmet kitchen, so a new owner can easily entertain family and friends while serving up a feast. The cooking area comes complete with stainless steel appliances and a butcher block counter.
And here’s a bonus that may really tempt buyers: The entire contents of the home, furniture, decor, and all, are available as well. The listing description notes that the seller would be open to a quick, Memorial Day move-in. Just in time for summer, your perfect retreat awaits. Sounds delicious.
