When Chateau Carnarvon first hit the market, the mansion was touted as the most expensive home ever listed for sale in Houston at $43 million. Now, the price tag for the more than 27,000-square-foot mansion has been reduced to $30 million, according to its listing on Houston Association of Realtors website and Martha Turner Sotheby’s International Realty's website.
