Baseball, football, back to baseball, and then … nothing.
The world hasn’t heard much from well-traveled relief pitcher Kyle Farnsworth since 2016. At the time, he’d taken his talents to Mexico, after a short stint in football, which followed a 16-year career in the big leagues.
So where is he?
Well, he’s selling his $2.2 million home in Windermere, FL. That’s one thing we do know. The five-bedroom, five-bathroom mansion was built by Orlando-area luxury builder Silliman Homes, and landed on the market in early September.

The home’s interior was designed with European luxury in mind. It features five en suite bedrooms, custom-designed wall coverings, and a chef’s kitchen with Miele appliances. There’s also a wet bar and a media center with stadium seating.
The master suite includes a walk-in wardrobe—not your standard walk-in closet—that is bigger than the bedrooms in most homes.

Windermere is just a short hop away from Orlando, the state’s attraction hub. Disney, Universal Studios, and a host of other popular attractions are all nearby.

So where exactly is Farnsworth and what’s he been up to?
It appears that after his stint in Mexico playing baseball, the former reliever made his way to minor-league football and played for the Orlando Phantoms. Then he was sidelined by injury.
Judging by what looks to be Farnsworth’s Instagram account, he injured his knee and had surgery in May. Since then, he’s been taking it easy and recuperating. It also looks like he recently opened a gym/training center in the Orlando area.
All in all, Farnsworth appears to be staying put in Florida.
