It must be serious. Celebrity couple Diane Kruger and Norman Reedus reportedly bought a West Village townhouse together for $11.75 million in an off-market deal, according to the Wall Street Journal.
The new owner’s identity was shielded by a limited liability company. But the name of the LLC—”EYEINTHEDARK”—gave it away. According to the Journal, that’s also the moniker of Reedus’ cat, who posed with the actor for People magazine in 2013. What can we say, that’s totally adorable.
The 1835 townhouse is camera-ready as well. The renovated four-story, 4,000-square-foot, Federal-style townhouse has five bedrooms, four baths, a chef’s kitchen, a roof terrace, and a garden.
Kruger has made plenty of headlines with her real estate deals. Last year, she listed a contemporary West Hollywood home she owned with her ex—”The Affair” star Joshua Jackson—for $6 million.
She also sold an East Village co-op for $1.1 million right before snapping up an “eco-conscious” Tribeca loft last year, which she snagged for $4.2 million. The 42-year-old had initially looked to flip the Tribeca home in March for $4.7 million, but it’s since been taken off the market.
Reedus owns a penthouse in Little Italy, which he picked up in 2013 for $3.8 million, the Journal reports.
Reedus is best known as the motorcycle-riding Daryl Dixon on the zombie series “The Walking Dead.” The German-born Kruger jumped into the limelight with her role in “Inglourious Basterds.” She is currently filming “The Women of Marwen.”
