Retief Goosen knows all about victories on the golf course. But when it comes to the real estate market, he’s yet to find a deal that’s up to par for his mansion in Orlando, FL.

The South African golfer has listed his half-acre mansion for $1.8 million. In 2012, he had put it on the market for $2.6 million. He bought it for $1.1 million in 2001.

As expected, his five-bedroom, seven-bathroom home is a dream for any golf lover. The property sits on the back nine of the Lake Nona Golf and Country Club and overlooks Buck Lake right off the 15th fairway.

On the inside, the high ceilings and custom arched windows maximize the home’s waterfront location.

A highlight of the 6,198-square-foot house is the dining room and kitchen with a butler’s pantry and center island. The living area, kitchen, and family room all offer access to the outdoor living area, including a lanai and pool and spa.

The master suite, located on the second level, features a custom bath with wood cabinetry, walk-in shower, separate tub, and elegant barrel ceiling.

A bonus room, balcony, sun deck, and golf cart storage round out the property’s other amenities.

On the final day of the 2001 U.S. Open, Goosen picked up not just his first victory on the PGA tour, but also his first major championship.

In 2004, he won his second major, another U.S. Open, once again claiming the crown with a two-stroke victory. 2004 was arguably his best year on the U.S. tour with $3.9 million in winnings—good enough for sixth on the money list that year.

Goosen has 40 wins across different tours to his credit and has earned over $25 million in career winnings.
