Picking a house is just about as important as picking a president. In fact, you’ll probably live in your home a longer than the elected winner will remain in the White House. Maybe a lot longer.
But we know making a choice on a house can be as difficult as navigating your way through a byzantine ballot stuffed with a number of crucial and stress-inducing decisions.
We get it. That’s why we’re here to help undecided home buyers in America’s most contentious battleground counties.
Politico recently identified the biggest swing counties across the country. These are places where political junkies are focused on to see how the presidential election is breaking—the ones that could very well select our next commander in chief. We focused our attention on these same counties, but through the lens of real estate. It’s time to come together, America!
For each of the 12 battleground regions, we identified a house for sale priced close to the county median list price. It’s up to you whether these houses earn your vote. Simply scroll down to see where buyers might look in the counties with the most influence on our next four years. Or perhaps eight?
