After being traded to the Chicago Bulls in October, former Milwaukee Bucks player Michael Carter-Williams is unloading the Milwaukee-area home he bought only last year.
At nearly 10,000 square feet, the Tudor home is located in the affluent suburb of River Hills, which is 15 miles north of downtown Milwaukee. The two-story home has five bedrooms and 7.5 baths. The Bulls point guard—and 2014 NBA Rookie of the Year—paid $1.65 million (its asking price was $1.95 million) and is now asking for $1.85 million.
Built in 2005, the home features an in-ground pool, see-through fireplace, game room, and guesthouse. The interior features loads of marble, slate, and tile in the baths; granite countertops and a marble island in the kitchen; and custom woodwork throughout. There’s also a sunroom overlooking the backyard.
“It’s an exceptional property for anyone who appreciates quality. It’s a virtual play land from the tire swing in the front yard, to the treehouse in the backyard, the theater room in the basement, or the awesome in-ground pool,” says listing agent Shar Borg, who’s with First Weber Realtors in Glendale, WI.
Sitting on 5 acres at the end of a tree-lined drive, the property offers lots of privacy and stunning autumn foliage.
“The location of this estate just 15 minutes from downtown makes this the ideal spot for anyone who wants to be close to the action while living in a private, retreatlike setting,” says Borg.
