Supply, demand and interest rates

During the month of October, demand for housing was strong, with the median price and number of sales of single-family homes jumping compared to last year. According to a report from the Honolulu Board of Realtors, the median price for single-family homes increased 3 percent last month to $742,000 from $720,000 in October 2015.
