South Florida home sales improve in August, except for Miami condos

South Florida home sales were mixed in August, with single-family homes selling faster than condos, according to the Florida Realtors. The lagging performing continued for Miami-Dade County’s closely watched condo market. Sales of existing single-family homes in the tri-county area increased 9.8 percent to 4,580 to bounce back after a decline in July. The median sales price grew 8.6 percent to 3,785.
