Retired All-Star pitcher Kenny Rogers, not to be confused with the soon-to-be-retired country singer, is trying again to sell his Westlake, TX, mansion.
This time around it’s nearly $3 million less than the original offering price a couple of years ago. The new asking price? Only $11.9 million. Even with the recent price slice, the home is still the most expensive listing in this upscale suburb.
Built in 2004 in a French country–style, the estate sits on nearly 9 acres of rolling hills and manicured lawns. The five-bedroom main house offers over 12,000 square feet of living space and includes a formal living room with crown molding, carved fireplace mantel, and parquet flooring.

The family room boasts a vaulted ceiling, and the kitchen features a chandelier, cherry cabinets, and exposed beams. The master suite contains two bathrooms, a sitting room, two fireplaces (!), and heated floors.
Outdoors, there’s a custom barn with two stalls, guesthouse, entertainment pavilion, and pool. The grounds also feature two ponds and formal gardens.

Rogers, 51, wore the Texas Rangers uniform for 12 seasons and toed the rubber for a total of six teams during his 20-year run in the MLB. The winner of 219 games over the course of his career was also a four-time All Star, and he tossed a perfect game for the Rangers in 1994. The left-hander hung up his spikes after the 2008 season.
