Fired Arkansas Razorbacks head football coach Bret Bielema has put his 6,300-square-foot mansion in Fayetteville, AR, on the market for $2 million, amid speculation he could be headed to the New England Patriots.
Bielema and his wife, Jen, bought the house for $1.5 million in 2013, shortly after Bielema was hired away as head coach of the University of Wisconsin Badgers. The Razorbacks cut him loose in November, after a dismal 4-8 season, reportedly agreeing to pay him nearly $12 million to get out of his contract.
Earlier this month, Bielema was spotted at the NFL Scouting Combine as a representative for the Patriots. Later, he traveled with Patriots head coach Bill Belichick to this year’s Alabama Pro Day.
Built in 2011, Bielema’s four-bedroom, six-bath mansion sits on 2 acres in the city’s Bridgewater Estates development. From the outside, the only clue to who lives inside is the Razorbacks insignia on the gate leading to the home’s five-car garage.
The home’s listing photos suggest the Bielemas have high-end tastes in art and interior decorating—or a great staging company.

Bridgewater Estates is a 20-minute drive to campus, and is reportedly popular with other head coaches at the University of Arkansas. Razorbacks head basketball coach Mike Anderson lives there, as does head baseball coach Dave van Horn, according to the Northwest Arkansas Business Journal.
