“Game of Thrones” star Lena Headey has listed her dazzling home in Sherman Oaks, CA, for $1.9 million, according to the Los Angeles Times.
The remodeled house, which was described in the listing as “Mid-Century meets boho chic,” was featured in the October 2016 issue of Dwell Magazine. It’s a far cry from the gloomy castle ruled by Headey’s character on the blockbuster HBO show, the conniving Queen Cersei Lannister.
Built in 1951, the five-bedroom, 4.5-bath home features an open floor plan. The living room has a fireplace and wood-beamed ceiling, and reclaimed wood floors in a herringbone pattern stretch through the main living spaces. The kitchen is defined by its blue-and-white tile flooring and large island with seating—the perfect place to sip a goblet of wine and plot against one’s enemies.

The home’s exterior features painted brickwork and wood siding in line with the styling of the 1950s. The backyard is dominated by a saltwater swimming pool, and drought-tolerant plants dot the landscaping. There’s also an outdoor shower for rinsing off after a dip in the pool.
The actress bought the house in 2014 for $790,000. She reportedly earns $1.1 million per episode on “Game of Thrones,” which premiered its seventh season on Sunday.
