Pro golfer Hunter Mahan is selling his lakefront home outside of Dallas for $3.8 million. The custom-built home looks like an ideal spot for a family to get away in style.
The 5,300-square-foot, six-bedroom home features a clean white palette, giving off sun-bleached, casual summer vibes. But don’t be lulled into thinking this is just a basic lake house.
The home sits on an acre lot in the gated community of Long Cove in Malakoff, TX, which is about an hour outside of Dallas. It overlooks a lakeside pool and features a wraparound porch. There’s a pool house outfitted with an indoor grill and kitchenette, and nearby you’ll find a grassy area and boat dock.
For future farmers of America, the property also includes a toy barn.

Mahan was a Texas golf champion in high school and has six wins on the PGA Tour since turning pro in 2003. He’s won over $30 million on the tour and is no stranger to the multimillion-dollar real estate game.
In 2016, Mahan sold his Dallas mansion to fellow golfer Jordan Spieth for $7.15 million. The golf simulator in the basement might have helped seal that deal. Previously, Mahan sold a spectacular mansion in Coto da Caza, CA, in 2014 for $1.8 million.
