Nashville’s housing market has hit a new high. For the first time, homes in the Nashville area sold last month, on average, for more than $300,000. According to the Greater Nashville Realtors, the median price for single-family homes sold in June was $314,900, up from $293,850 a year ago. Prices had flirted with the $300,000 milestone over the past year. Overall sales also were up in June, with 4,036 closings reported last month, up 3.8 percent from a year ago.
