Houston home sales were up slightly year over year in May, while inventory has finally caught up to last year’s level, according to the Houston Association of Realtors. Meanwhile, prices broke all-time records set just a month earlier. Single-family home sales totaled 8,157 in May, up just 1 percent from May 2017 but the second-largest one-month sales volume in Houston’s history.
