Jim Caldwell, recently dismissed as head coach of the Detroit Lions, is also departing his Michigan home. The custom estate in Oakland County is on the market for $2.5 million.
The 63-year-old had coached the Lions since 2014, and despite having a winning record, he was let go by general manager Bob Quinn. Quinn said he wanted to replace Caldwell with someone who will bring “a change in leadership, a new voice.”
Caldwell’s home is certainly a winner. Built in 2012, the 8,566-square-foot home has five bedrooms, five baths, and two half-baths. The home sits on a 1.27-acre lot.
The Wisconsin native bought the residence for $2.1 million in 2014, just months after he accepted the Lions coaching position.
