Fox News anchor Shepard Smith has listed his 2,341-square-foot Greenwich Village loft for $4.9 million, Luxury Listings says.
The apartment, which is huge by Manhattan standards, has two bedrooms, two baths, 13-foot ceilings (another rarity in NYC), an oversize great room, and a formal dining room that can seat eight. The kitchen has custom cabinets, a wine fridge, and a granite-covered center island. Perhaps best of all is a 40-foot gallery, just waiting to display artwork from a buyer’s private collection.
Smith bought the condo in The Greenwich building in 2004 for $1,875,000. He’s tried before to sell the apartment, hawking it for $4 million in 2011 and then dropping it slightly to $3.95 million the next year.

The Greenwich on West 13th Street is a 12-story, full-service loft building with a roof deck, gym, and playroom. It was built in 1904 as a department store, then converted to 67 condos in 2001.
Smith, an early hire at Fox News, joined the news channel at its 1996 inception. He’s chief news anchor and managing editor for the network’s breaking news division. He made his own headlines when he publicly came out as gay in October of last year.
