Realtors, county recorder balk at tax increase

Hamilton County Recorder Norbert Nadel and the chief lobbyist for the Cincinnati Area Board of Realtors urged county commissioners not to increase the fee charged when property owners sell their homes. The county administrator has recommended increasing the property transfer tax from $300 for every $100,000 of property sold to $400 for every $100,000 of property sold.
