Unit sales rise for single-family homes, condominiums on Kauai

Unit sales edged upward for single-family homes and condominiums on Kauai that closed during August, according to data provided by Hawaii Information Service on behalf of the Kauai Board of realtors. Median sales prices dropped for homes but rose sharply for condos, primarily because of much higher prices in a few areas.
