Median sales prices of homes, condos continue to climb on Big Island

Median prices continued trending upward for single-family homes and condominiums sold on the Big Island during August, according to data provided by Hawaii Information Service on behalf of Hawaii Island Realtors. Unit sales also rose for homes and condos. The median price for a home sold last month was $355,000 compared with $336,500 in August 2015, an increase of 5.5 percent.
