Two-time World Series champion David Ross has listed his home base in Tallahassee, FL, for $1.4 million.

Much like the lovable ex-catcher, the property is a winner. Built on a 3-acre lot in 2010, the 5,000-square-foot home has five beds and 5.5 baths. It’s “the perfect combination of luxury, privacy, and quality craftsmanship all rolled into one magnificent home,” the listing notes.

Features include multiple windows and 12- and 13-foot-high ceilings. The chef’s kitchen with a breakfast nook and high-end appliances overlooks the great room. The open layout also includes a formal dining room.

The “owner’s retreat” overlooks the pool and backyard, and the property comes with a separate in-law suite for guests or family. The sprawling grounds include lush landscaping, a large fireplace, custom pool and hot tub, as well as raised verandas.

While the home looks to be a sweet retreat, it looks like Ross has decided to spend his downtime elsewhere. The 41-year-old played with multiple teams throughout his career, and his stints with the Boston Red Sox and the Chicago Cubs earned him World Series rings in 2013 and 2016.

Ross retired from baseball in 2017. That year, he traded in his cleats for dancing shoes as a contestant on Season 24 of “Dancing With the Stars.” He also wrote a New York Times best-selling memoir, “Teammate: My Journey in Baseball and a World Series for the Ages.”

The veteran catcher known as “Grandpa Rossy” hasn’t completely left the game behind. He recently signed a multiyear contract extension with ESPN to serve as an analyst for MLB game and studio coverage. So, farewell, Florida—a home closer to the ESPN studios in Connecticut seems like a sure bet.
