Realtor: Haylie Duff Cooks Up a Quick Flip in Studio City for $2.2M

Actress Haylie Duff—Hilary Duff’s big sister—is selling her Studio City contemporary just 18 months after she bought the place, according to Celebuzz. It’s listed for $2,195,000, which is a substantial increase over what Duff paid for it. There’s a reason for that.

The listing posted last year stated that the two-story home measured 2,922 square feet. But the new listing has the home sitting pretty at 3,150 square feet. It looks like Duff got busy with a remodel and paid extra attention to the chef’s kitchen, which features marble countertops, a farmhouse sink, and Waterstone fixtures. This all makes sense because the 31-year-old is a foodie. Her Cooking Channel show, “Hailey’s America,” just made its debut (first stop: New Orleans).

Located in Footbridge Square, the three-bedroom house also features Viking appliances, a custom outdoor barbecue island, and a pool. While modern on the outside, the home’s interior has a stylish farmhouse charm and lets in plenty of light.

Duff bought the home with her fiancé, Matt Rosenberg, in February 2015 for $1.3 million—about a month before she gave birth to their daughter. They bought the home for $455 per square foot last year; with the updates to the home, it now stands at $697 per square foot. We’ll see if Duff’s mastered the recipe for home flipping.
